In the heart of Nice, at the corner of Avenue Jean Médecin and Rue de la Liberté, with easy access to Masséna Square, Hôtel Univers welcomes you for a stay in a world of well-being.

Ideally located 7 min by foot from the SNCF train station, 5 min from Old Nice, 4 min from the Promenade des Angalis and the beach, 20 metres from the tramway, in the pedestrian shopping zone, Hôtel Univers is a departure point for many readily accessible activities : shopping, cinema, theatre, the beach, museums, restraurants, casinos...

After a change of ownership in November 2009 and much construction work, Hôtel Univers is happy to welcome you for a pleasant stay.

The 66 3*** rooms are all equipped with a flat-screen digital satellite TVs , free Wifi, workspace, a safe, a hair dryer, and a telephone. Continental breakfast at the buffet.

The 12 mansard rooms are also nicely equipped, but their layout does not allow them to have a 3*** rating.

The Rooms

The rooms at Hôtel Univers, divided into two categories: standard and superior. They are all equipped with a bathroom with shower or bathtub, WC, hair dryers, phone, 26" flat-screen digital TV, multilingual programmes, safe, individual air conditioning, soundproofing, and workspace.

Our superior rooms are more spacious. Some are equipped with a sofa bed and can host up to 3 guests. [A balcony is possible upon request.]

The Mansard rooms*

The mansard rooms are on the 6th storey of the Hotel Univers. With a surface area of between 18 and 20m², they are equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, an electric range, dishes, digital and satellite LCD TV, multilingual programmes, free WIFI, individual air-conditioning, a safe and can host two guests. They can welcome up to two people.

The arrangement of these mansard rooms does not allow the classification 3***.

- from Marseille, Aix en Provence, take the Nice Ouest (west) exit, heading toward Nice Centre, Place Masséna (Masséna Square)

Arriving by Train :
SNCF/TGV Nice station, walk 7 minutes, or take the tram heading for Place Masséna (Masséna Square), get off at the Masséna stop at 20 metres from the hotel.

Arriving by Plane :
Shuttle 98 from the Nice airport, Masséna/Albert 1er stop. Or enquire about private transfer service at the reception desk.
